Adria “doing everything possible” to keep new motorhome order delays to a minimum

Adria production delays

Adria has released a statement amid continued supply chain disruption, blaming a “lack of raw materials” on Adria production delays.

In a statement, an Adria spokesperson said: “As we are all aware, internationally we are still experiencing a disruption in all areas of the supply chain and there is still a lack of raw materials throughout many industries, in particular within the automotive industry.

“We can assure you that we are doing everything possible to keep delays to a minimum and the factory are working exceptionally hard to ensure retail sold orders are produced with the highest priority.

“We are continually in contact with our suppliers and dealerships to ensure updates and expected delivery dates are as accurate as possible.”

Customers awaiting an outstanding order are advised to contact their supplying dealership for updates.

The spokesperson added: “Our priority is to produce the best quality leisure vehicles to enable you years of adventures ahead.”

I am still waiting, delivery had slipped 9 months but my dealer just received this from Adria. No sign of trying to minimise delays unfortunately….

At the end of June 2022 Adria have received updated info from Fiat that they are closed for another two weeks, meaning Fiat ordering system is still closed and will be closed until September 2022.

Beside new chassis ordering challenges, we still have issues for all A status orders which are in the production plan Oct 2021-Jan 2022 but in reality, will not be produced before period March-Jun 2023.

We would like to ask you to address customers regarding the effected units. Informing them about further delays because of force majeure (=inability to supply Fiat chassis).

More information and details about the further action steps, which does not exclude potential price increase on all affected vehicles will follow.

Potential updates will follow up as soon as we have it.

We would like to apologise and really feel sorry that we must share this bad news with you and would like to apologise for any inconvenience.

My order has just been cancelled with Fiat saying the order cannot be fulfilled We are at the end of the relationship with no direct contract so powerless.Ordered in October 2021 and originally expected April 2022.This is unbelievable when they are still actively marketing and taking new orders. They are focussing on developing and selling their electric vans which are a much bigger market for them.

Same situation here in Spain. 640 SGX Ordered Oct/21, initially for June 2022, delayed to Oct/22, then Feb 23 but still without FIAT confirmation of chasis asignation. I´m really dissapointed and I don´t expect it before summer 23, nearly 2 years since order placed….!!!! My old van was sold more than 1 year ago so a lot of travelling time lost.

So a promise of May 23 will mean in reality?

Ordered an Adria in 2021 because Possl had a years waiting list. Adria promised to deliver in 7 months.
Order was October 2021, estimated delivery instead of 7 months will now be April/May 2023. It’s getting close to April/May now but we can’t believe the promises any more.
Has nothing to do with the dealer but all with Adria and Fiat. Already 2 holidays lost 😞

Hi Christina, how is it going with your order so far? I find myself in the same situation. I placed an order for a Twin plus van in april/22 to be delivrered in Feb/23, then May/23 and now they said it’s going to be somewhere by the end if July.

Same thing here in Finland, I ordered my 640 SGX October 2021…delivery date initially Feb 2022, then delayed to Apr/22, then delayed to Aug/22, then delayed to Oct/22, then delayed to Feb/23, then delayed toApr/23 and now delayed to Jun/23 …

We ordered our Adria Twin Supreme 640SGX on 22nd September 2021. It was initially due for delivery in June 2022 then delayed to September. We were then advised that it was likely to slip into 2023 and Adria UK subsequently told us the new delivery date was 9th May 2023. Having checked back with the dealership last week we are now being advised that there are no firm delivery dates for any remaining 2022 & 2023 units. Despite this we regularly receive updates from Adria about awards they have won for their Campervans and Motorhomes when it seems at the same time that they are unable to build them. Of course in the meantime prices have gone through the roof and although we have been given assurances that the price we agreed at the outset will be honoured this seems to be a hollow promise given that there appears to be no prospect of the van being delivered.

We ordered Adria compact dl supreme in Oct 22. It is now end of August 2023 and have just come back from more expensive holiday in France because of no campervan! Will there ever be a delivery?
