Motorhome manufacturer, Carado is celebrating its 100,000th vehicle to have rolled off the production line at its plant in Neustadt, Saxony.
The production plant of the Erwin Hymer Group SE specialises in the manufacture of leisure vehicles and produces the Carado range of vehicles.
The first vehicle produced by the mobile home manufacturer, a semi-integrated Carado T135, was completed in 2006.
Some 16 years and 100,000 vehicles later, on June 21, 2022 a special anniversary edition semi-integrated Carado T135 EDITION15 rolled off the line.
As an “employee from the very beginning”, Pierre Freigang said: “I was incredibly proud of what we had built together.
“Everyone in the team knew each other, knew who was from where, how old you were.
“It was like a big family.
The anniversary motorhome rolls off the production line at a difficult time for the industry, amid supply chain and energy crisis difficulties.
Daniel Rogalski, managing director of CAPRON GmbH and Carado said: “The current global crises put us in a difficult position.
“Nevertheless, I am confident that we will also master these challenges.
“We are doing everything we can to keep production at the site stable up to the next milestone and beyond, so that our customers can continue to fulfil their dream of owning their own motorhome.”
