Caravan and Motorhome Club opens Northern Ireland training centre

Caravan and Motorhome Club training

The Caravan and Motorhome Club has added Ken Irwin Class One Driver Training in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, to its now 18-strong nationwide leisure vehicle training centres.

Courses are suitable for anyone who wants to improve their towing and manoeuvring, not just leisure vehicle owners, these courses are also ideal for people such as horsebox drivers and those who tow boats or trailers.

Operating at locations across the UK, each course is led by friendly, expert trainers with first-hand experience, who are Club members and well-seasoned tourers themselves.

The training courses are split into: Practical Caravanning; Caravan Manoeuvring; and Motorhome Manoeuvring.

The Caravan and Motorhome manoeuvring courses both take a full day, whilst the Practical Caravan Manoeuvring course, for people who are completely new to caravanning, is split over 1.5 days.

Brian Morgan, head of events and communications at the Caravan and Motorhome Club said: “We’re pleased to welcome Ken Irwin Class One Driver Training in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, to our network of training course centres.

“By launching a variety of new locations this year, course participants have flexibility on where to learn or refresh their skills before setting off on their touring adventures at home or abroad.”
