Staffordshire pub and campsite up for sale

A Staffordshire Moorlands pub and campsite which closed down during the coronavirus pandemic has been put up for sale.

Specialist agent Fleurets is marketing The Cross Inn, which dates back to the 17th century, at £350,000 plus VAT.

The 3.3-acre site has an accommodation block, a toilet block, a large car park, and a large caravan and camping area.

Fleurets Midlands divisional director Andy Tudor said: “The property has not traded since 2020 and needs refurbishing. However, it offers a huge amount of potential.

“The Cross Inn is both a character stone-built destination freehouse, with the benefit of over three acres of land and a well-known camping and caravan site.

“This could be a really exciting opportunity for the right type of purchaser.”
