Ray Mears

The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show will return to the NEC Birmingham from Tuesday 13 – Sunday 18 February, kicking off 2024 with the UK’s largest start of season display of Leisure Vehicles, camping essentials and gadgets.

The Show also brings a star-studded line-up of celebrity speakers including wilderness and survival expert Ray Mears and avid caravanner and Two Pints of Lager star Will Mellor.

Following an incredibly successful 2023 Show, the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show will span five halls (almost 20 acres!) giving visitors endless inspiration for all things campervan, motorhome, caravanning, camping and glamping related.

As well as exploring new-for-2024 Leisure Vehicles, a huge dedicated Tent and Camping Hall and shopping from hundreds of essential accessories, the Show’s signature Inspiration Theatre will host some of the UK’s biggest outdoor-enthusiasts who will each be sharing their travel stories, advice and destination inspiration.

Caravan and Motorhome Club member, campervanner and recent Strictly Come Dancing star, Annabel Croft, will be at the Show on Tuesday 13 February sharing tales of her campervan adventures, her favourite places to explore and how these experiences have had a positive effect on her wellbeing.

Annabel will be interviewed on stage at 10.20am.

Newly-appointed Camping and Caravanning Club President, wildlife presenter and cameraman Hamza Yassin will be at the Show sharing stories of life behind the lens and road trips as well as providing top tips on where to go and what to expect from a life on the road.

He’ll be speaking at the Show on Thursday 15th February at 12.30pm.

Actor Will Mellor will chat about his love for the outdoors and previous caravan and campervanning escapades with his family.

Catch Will Mellor on stage on Friday 16 February at 12.30pm.

TV presenter and bushman Ray Mears will be sharing his bushcraft knowledge and the themes of his latest book, how to explore the secret world of our forests and build a deeper connection with trees and nature. He’ll be at the Inspiration Theatre at 12.30pm Wednesday 14 February.

A story for all the senses, TV Chef and caravanner, Kwoklyn Wan, will not only be delighting visitors with anecdotes and top-tips about caravanning in Devon (including exhilarating bike rides), but will also be demonstrating the delights of campsite cooking by cooking up ‘breakfast fried rice’ from his book One Wok One Pot.

Kwoklyn will be cooking at the Inspiration Theatre on Friday 16 February at 11.45am and speaking about Caravanning in Devon at 3.00pm.

Continuing the culinary theme, outdoor cook Harrison Ward (aka Fell Foodie) is also one to look out for at the Show for all things foodie inspiration.

Not compromising on flavour, Fell Foodie loves to recreate restaurant style meals on minimal equipment in remote locations. Join him as he prepares his favourite campsite snacks that are easy to replicate on an outdoor adventure.

He’ll also be sharing the importance of time in the great outdoors for physical and mental wellbeing. Harrison will be at the Inspiration Theatre on Sunday 18th February at 11.45am.

For some destination inspiration blogger, Kat Bird, aka Wandering BIrd, is a must-see at the Show and will have Ireland heading to the top of any travel bucket list for 2024.

Whether it’s travelling by motorhome, campervan, car or bike, the Wandering Bird herself will take visitors on an adventure travelling along the world’s longest coastal road trip route – the Wild Atlantic Way.

She’ll be speaking at the Inspiration Theatre every day of the Show.

Also speaking each day is award-winning travel writer Marcus Leach. Join him for a magical journey through Croatia.

Home to shimmering shorelines, enchanting islands, ancient cities, tumbling waterfalls, rugged mountains and glorious gastronomic delights, there’s the promise of adventure all year round for those seeking a new travel destination.

With hundreds of products and innovations to shop at the Show, Ella Williamson, also known as TV’s Gadget Girl, will be taking audiences through her selection of top accessories and gadgets at the Show.

From travel apps to argument-saving cameras, cool boxes and everything in-between, she’ll be providing visitors with advice and tips to help give their next adventure an upgrade.

Ella will be speaking at the Inspiration Theatre every day.

Solo-parent-traveller, Hollie Londors, will be on stage Saturday 17 February at 11.00am and Sunday 18 February at 12.30pm, sharing her summer-experience of travelling with her two children for the first time without her partner.

Hollie’s talk will leave visitors inspired and confident to pitch up and park on their own without partners or spouses.

From the west coast of Italy, through Switzerland and back up through France, Hollie proves that you can have a husband and have solo experiences.

Gemma and Campbell of highlands2hammocks will be sharing their extensive experience touring Scotland, including the renowned North Coast 500 (NC500).

The two Scots have a passion and craving to travel the world and have created endless memories in their home-on-wheels. With insights on the best time of year to visit, tips on weather, festivals and events as well as providing practical advice and helpful resources, visitors will immediately add Scotland to their destination list for 2024.

They’ll be speaking at the Show’s Inspiration Theatre every day.

Rachael Walker from Cycling UK, the UK’s leading cycling charity, will be detailing everything guests need to know about exploring destinations by bike – even the most popular and well-loved tourist areas have more secrets to be discovered on two wheels.

From route planning, what to pack and the game-changing possibilities that e-bikes provide, they’ll be speaking at the Inspiration Theatre on Tuesday 13 February at 12.30pm.

Also speaking at the Show will be Pro MTB, BMX Racer and Podcaster, Scott Beaumont. Nicknamed Boom Boom, Scott is world number 3 mountain bike racer, specialising in the discipline of 4X.

He started racing BMX aged four and went on to be World BMX Champion in 1995 and 1996. Scott is an Adria motorhome ambassador.

Despite growing up in an area where the outdoors and camping was the last thing on most people’s minds, British polar explorer and television presenter, Dwayne Fields, managed to find a passion for this pastime.

In his encouraging talk, Dwayne will detail some of his most stand out moments while camping, sharing with visitors why camping in the UK will always be special for him and why it should be experienced by everyone.

He’ll be on stage Saturday 17 February at 1.30pm.

Additional speakers who’ll be sharing their touring routes, tips, inspirational stories and
experiences of life on the road in the great outdoors will be announced in the coming weeks.
