High demand for February Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show tickets

Show organisers, NCC Events, have confirmed that over 26,000 advance tickets have already been sold for the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show – ten times the number seen at this point in previous years.

John Lally, CEO of NCC Events said: “The strong ticket sales are a clear indication of pent-up demand – we know that not only are there a lot of new buyers coming into the industry, but many of the core market of caravanners have held off upgrading their outfits.

“Interest in leisure vehicles is such that Channel 5 have chosen to focus on the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show, as part of their new year programming, with filming taking place during the show and aired “live” during the event to an anticipated 1.5 million viewers.

“This will be the first major leisure vehicle exhibition in the UK for two years and we know that many will have missed the opportunity to step inside the latest models, compare the different layouts and specifications and talk face-to-face with others who share their love of the touring lifestyle.

“We are delighted that so many manufacturers across product categories are using the show as a platform to launch new models and utilising the event to present their brand to an audience that has boomed with many newcomers.

“There will be an excellent range of well-equipped holiday homes, lodges and tents on offer too.

“There really is no better place to see what’s on, choose a perfect vehicle and chat to a friendly face who can reassure, offer advice and demonstrate features on their chosen products.”

Show visitors can research new products and buy all the essential accessories they need for the season ahead as they begin to feel inspired about travelling again.

For the adventurous, there will be some great innovations on display demonstrating that leisure vehicles are perfect for a variety of sports and hobbies.

For the more cautious, a product that is ‘socially distanced by design’ has a unique proven appeal.

The show will be spread over five halls at the NEC and both the Caravan and Motorhome Club and the Camping and Caravanning Club will be welcoming their many members to the show.

To support the significant rise in interest in campervans, there will be over 50 per cent more models on display.

Free leisure activities will be on offer including a custom built indoor pool where visitors can try paddleboarding and kayaking, an advice centre for those new to leisure vehicles plus many other features.

NCC Events is working with the NEC to ensure that the show is COVID compliant, so that the staff from the 354 stand holders and show visitors are able to enjoy the largest start of season show as safely as possible.
