Excitement builds ahead of Vanlife Awards category opening

The inaugural Vanlife Awards launch party, presented by Glawning, kicked off in style last week, captivating attendees with a night of delectable cuisine, live music by DJ Rory Hoy, and a stellar guest list.

Held in a quirky function suite, ‘The Sample Room’ at Roosters Brewery on Hornbeam Park, Harrogate, the event drew a diverse crowd, including renowned personalities such as Karen Wright from Great British Bake Off (GBBO), Cameron Burns from ‘Not Another White Box’, and prominent figures in the festival circuit like organizers from Vanlove Fest, Mighty Dubfest and VW Festival, as well as many businesses on the vanlife scene.

Vanlife enthusiasts, industry experts, and influencers gathered to celebrate the spirit of adventure and community that defines this lifestyle.

Glawning took to the stage as main sponsor of the event, showcasing its commitment to supporting the vibrant van life community and plans for awarding various categories at a ceremony with a difference on 2 November at Lightwater Valley, North Yorkshire.

In a statement, founders James and Sarah Martin said: “We are grateful to have such incredible support from industry leaders, celebrities, and fellow van enthusiasts who share our love for adventure, exploration and a new challenge.”

Tthe Vanlife Awards Ceremony will take place on 2 November 2024 at Lightwater Valley with a circus-themed twist.

Ticket sales and awards categories will open in May.
