Caravan and Motorhome Club offers ‘safari experience’ on Isle of Wight

Campers are being encouraged to experience a safari summer stay on the Isle of Wight with Experience Freedom from The Caravan and Motorhome Club.

A spokesperson for the Caravan and Motorhome Club said: “For a great break away with family or friends, the four-night ‘Sail and Stay’ includes glamping in a safari tent for up to five people and ferry crossing with a car, all from just £341.

“Glampers can start their trip with fresh, sea air as they cross the Solent on one of three ferry routes included in the deal, sailing from either Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington.”

Southland Campsite is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Newchurch, in the beautiful Arreton Valley on the Isle of Wight.

With half the Isle of Wight designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are numerous breath-taking walks starting from the campsite, while Shanklin and Sandown are only three miles away, both offering sheltered bays and sandy beaches safe for bathing, making it a perfect location for an enjoyable summer holiday escape.

There’s more than 120 attractions and places of interest, including dinosaur museums and animal parks for glampers to enjoy an active getaway.

Experience Freedom’s authentic safari tents offer comfortable space for up to five people including a double bed, two single beds and an overhead bed, a kitchenette and dining area plus ample outdoor space to enjoy, including a BBQ station for balmy summer nights.
