Van Life Festival confirms weekend ticket sell-out

Weekend tickets have sold out for Van Life Festival 2023, the organisers have announced.

Taking place at the West Midlands Showground in Shrewsbury from 2 – 4 June, the event promises a long weekend of live music, fire-pits, traders, display vehicles, street food, kid’s entertainment and outdoor activities.

Announcing the news on social media, event organiser, Damo Jones said: “I’m pleased to announced that Van Life Festival 2023 is now a full sell-out on camping. We’re really looking forward to June, it’s going to be incredible.”

Van Life Festival is billed to be “a major event, never seen before in the UK”.

Offering the van life community a place to exhibit self-build campervans, share adventures, and pass on tips and advice to other, VanLife Festival welcomes all makes and models from the smallest of micro campers to coaches, horseboxes, through to ex-army 8 x 8 trucks and everything else in between.

A limited number of day tickets are still available to book online.

Thursday 1st June: Pre-event camping is available at £15 (cash) per vehicle, this includes camping a pitch. Gates open from 14:00 – 20:00.

Friday 2nd June: Weekend camping access is from 10:00 – 21:00.

Saturday 3rd June: Weekend campers can arrive anytime from 10:00 onwards. Camping access closes at 20:00. Day ticket access is from 10:00 – 23:00.

Sunday 4th June: Show opening hours 10:00 -18:00 (day ticket access is from 10:00 – 18:00). Campers may stay on the Sunday evening for the ”Chill down” and leave Monday morning.

Damo added: "The plan for Van Life festival will be to reinvest again, to deliver one of the greatest festivals on the van life calendar. I love to put my best into it and serve the community."
