Police are investigating after a motorhome was stolen on Boxing Day from a Staffordshire village.
The vehicle was stolen at 7pm on Monday, December 26 from Holland Park, in Barton under Needwood.
Police say initial enquiries show that a white Ford Transit-style panel van approached the property at 6.58pm on and two thieves stole the motorhome.
PCSO Sean Elliott of East Staffordshire police, said: “As always, here at Staffordshire Police, we will endeavour to investigate and resolve this theft.
“Over the past few weeks we are seeing a spike in vehicle crime, and we have had some good results in locating stolen vehicles and arrests have been made, although we all need to be aware that this spike in crime may continue.”

In light of the latest theft, officers have asked that residents make sure any valuables are not left in vehicles; vehicles are locked, and they install anti-theft devices where possible.
PCSO Elliott added: “Steering wheel locks, and tracking apps/devices are also a great idea.
“I understand that times are financially difficult for us all, and purchasing anti-theft devices are not a priority, a small investment may prevent a future bigger loss.”
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to called Staffordshire Police on 101, or go to East Staffs Police Facebook page and report via message/messenger, quoting incident 0156 of December 28.
