A campervan fell 100ft after rolling over the edge of a car park in the Highland Glen after its handbrake reportedly failed.
The vehicle was discovered laying on its side beneath the Three Sisters viewpoint parking area in Glencoe.
There were no injuries but the vehicle and the landscape were damaged.
The incident sparked a warning from the local branch of National Trust Scotland to drivers to check their handbrakes.
A social media post from National Trust Glencoe read: “Something you don’t encounter every day.
“Always double-check your handbrake (though this may have been a faulty one).
“The Three Sisters viewpoint parking area is 100ft up to the right of this campervan.
“No injuries thankfully when it rolled off the edge, but plenty of damage to vehicle and landscape.”
