The owners of a stolen green Volkswagen T2 Westfalia campervan have thanked the van life community after being reunited with their much loved camper.
The classic 1970 camper, registration ABW 235H, was taken on Tuesday 4 July at 11:58pm from outside a flat at Bowes Park in North London.
It was discovered on 15 July at 11.30am in Palmers Green, London – just two miles from where it was stolen.
Residents near to where it was found say it had been parked on the street since Tuesday 11 July.
A front quarterlight window was broken and the ignition barrel damaged during the theft.
Speaking to Van Life Matters, the owner said: “Honestly, I can’t believe it. I think we’re in shock.
“Thank you for all of the shares, likes, views and support.
“We’ve been blown away by your support.”
