Thieves steal motorhome from Loch Lomond car park

Thieves have stolen a motorhome from a luxury spa near Loch Lomond in Scotland.

Police said the incident took place in broad daylight at Cameron House Golf Club and Spa on Friday, May 10.

Between 2.50pm and 4.45pm a locker within the spa changing area was broken into and a watch and car keys were taken.

A white Nissan Elgrand, with the registration number ML54 WAY, was then stolen from the car park.

Officers investigating this incident are looking to trace the two men who they believe are responsible.
The first is described as having dark-coloured hair and aged in his 20s.

He was wearing a black t-shirt and trousers and carrying a large black backpack.

The second suspect is described as aged between 30-40 years old with dark-coloured closely cropped hair.

He was wearing a black t-shirt, red shorts, and black shoes.

Detective Constable Thomas O’Donnell said: “We have been carrying out enquiries and checking CCTV footage from in and around the area to gather more information on where the van travelled after it was stolen.

“This is near a busy road and I am keen to speak to anyone who has any information that may assist our investigation.

“I would also urge drivers with dashcams who were in the area to check their footage in case it holds anything relevant.

“Information should be passed to officers through 101 quoting reference number 2873 of May 10.

“Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
