Peugeot reveals revised pricing and engines across Expert range

Peugeot has revised prices across its award-winning Expert range, including the fully electric e-Expert, with the aim of giving businesses and fleet customers the most transparent pricing possible.

List prices have been reduced by £1,000 across the entire model range, whilst other range changes include the addition of a new automatic gearbox option.

Prices for the Peugeot Expert now start from £22,995, while the zero emissions e-Expert starts from £32,450 before the Plug-in Van Grant of up to £6,000 is applied.

The new model year sees updates across the entire Expert range, with every trim receiving a revised name.

The Expert range will now be available in S Premium, Professional Premium and Asphalt Premium trims.

Entry-level S Premium models are exclusively sold in Standard length, while Professional Premium and Asphalt Premium models can be specified in Standard or Long lengths.

Professional Premium models can also be purchased in shortened Compact lengths, and is the trim level of choice on the Crew Van variant.

In response to increased customer demand for automatic versions, a new smooth-shifting BlueHDi 145 EAT8 automatic engine has been introduced to the range.

The gearbox will be offered on Professional Premium models.

Julie David, managing director for Peugeot UK, said: “With the latest range updates, we’ve made the Expert and the popular full electric e-Expert even more appealing and accessible to fleets and businesses.

“The introduction of a new automatic engine on the Expert reflects our aim to always listen and respond to evolving customer expectations.”

Professional Premium models come with a 7″ Capacitive colour touchscreen with DAB radio, Bluetooth handsfree and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto inside, as well as rear parking sensors, an alarm, air conditioning and automatic lights and windscreen wipers.

Asphalt Premium trims add Peugeot’s Park Assist 180° – featuring a front and rear parking sensors with blind spot monitoring and Visio Park 180° rear parking camera, Peugeot connected 3D navigation including a three-year subscription with live traffic updates and 17” Alloy Wheels.

Having won the title of International Van of the Year 2021, the new PEUGEOT e-Expert will be available in both the Professional Premium and Asphalt Premium trims.

The new e-Expert offers two different battery sizes to suit a range of customer needs.

Both a 50kWh and a 75kWh battery are offered on Standard and Long vehicle lengths.

The 50kWh battery option is capable of up to 143 miles (WLTP Combined) of range from a single charge, with the 75kWh unit increasing this to 205 (WTLP Combined).

Both units support up to 100kW rapid charging, with a 0-80 per cent charge taking just 30 minutes.
