Members of The Camping and Caravanning Club can now use a digital version of their membership card in the Club’s SiteSeeker app.
The digital version of the membership card doesn’t replace the physical card, but members can show it via their smartphone when checking in at Club Sites, Certificated Sites, Club Meets and Temporary Holiday Sites.
What’s more, members can also access the digital version of their membership card when their device is offline and even without a signal.
The digital membership card also means people can provide proof of their membership via the SiteSeeker app at retailers including GO Outdoors, Cotswold Outdoors and Millets to get access to exclusive savings on their next shop.
Darren Whittington, deputy director general at The Camping and Caravanning Club, said: “We know that many of our members prefer to keep things digitally and by having access to their membership cards in the SiteSeeker app we hope there will be no last-minute panic if cards are left at home or hidden away in their unit.”
