Burstner Playa: New Renault Trafic campervan unveiled

Burstner has unveiled its new Renault Trafic based Burstner Playa C 500.

The manufacturer is continuing its long-standing collaboration with Renault and is increasing its vehicle portfolio in the convertible campervan area with the Playa C 500 on a Renault Trafic base.

Other layouts are expected to be unveiled soon.

Ergonomic seating solutions and adjustable options, useful functional features as well as Burstner-specific accessories such as the Home-Light complete the range of home comforts.

The Playa is equipped with a rail track system that makes it possible to convert the rear vehicle area in an extremely flexible way.

The bench is easy to put in and take out to create maximum load space.

Other highlights are the water tank, which is generously sized for this vehicle category and holds 50l, and various driver assistance systems.

Standard Playa C 500 options include 17″ alloy wheels, a sun awning, a cooled glove box, a diesel parking heater and much more.

The “Limited Edition” pack also includes habitation blackout blinds, a 41l compressor refrigerator, a third and fourth seat equipped with Isofix anchor points, a bench seat that converts into a bed as well as additional, cleverly stowed away cushions.

Also included is the Buurstner Comfort Pack with a multimedia system and a sat-nav, as well as an additional USB charger and a 230V socket.

Burstner’s head of sales Markus Pangerl said: “We consider the collaboration with Renault to be a continuation of our successful collaboration in the motorhome area.

“This cooperation is our answer to the high demand for compact convertible campervans that are also suitable for everyday use in urban environments.

“We notice this every day when we talk to customers.

“There are many companies that offer campervan conversions but making them cosy inside as well as functional down to the smallest detail, that’s what makes our vehicles unique.”
