Auto-Sleepers staff raise money for mental health charity

Auto-Sleepers staff at the Willersey factory have raised more than £400 for mental health charity, Mind.

The pop-up event took place on Thursday 18 May as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.

Production at the factory stopped between 10am-12pm, allowing staff to come together and take part.

An Auto-Sleepers spokesperson said: “Members of staff were able to enjoy a cuppa, have a delicious slice of cake and have a laugh whilst having a crack at Phil Bennett’s general knowledge quiz.

“Thankfully the weather was on our side as all the fun took place in the factory yard! Amongst all the tables and chairs that were setup outside, all beverages were being provided by The Baking Bird, a beautiful, vintage 1960s Bedford CA van converted into a mobile coffee station.

“The money raised will go to help the charity Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem.”
