Van Life Festival 2023 has officially opened at the West Midlands Showground in Shrewsbury.
Festivities got underway last night (Friday 2 June), with many van lifers turning up on Thursday and Friday ahead of the main event this weekend.
First launched in 2022 at Stratford-upon-Avon Racecourse in Warwickshire, this year’s Van Life Festival promises a long weekend of live music, fire-pits, traders, display vehicles, street food, kid’s entertainment and outdoor activities.
Camping tickets are no longer available but day tickets are available on the gate with visitors welcome from 10.00am – 11.00pm on Saturday and 10.00am – 4.00pm on Sunday.
Commenting on Facebook, Tim Jones said: “Quiet and peaceful in the Field of Dreams this morning.
“So far a great festival with so much respect for fellow van lifers.
“All credit to the VLF crew, the hard work is paying off.”
‘Paul N Lona Brown’ said: “Having a great time, we have met the loveliest, craziest, funniest group of people – you know who you are.
“Thanks to the organisers and rest of team.”
