A police helicopter and sniffer dogs were used in apprehending two men with a stolen caravan from the Porthcawl area of Monmouth earlier this week.
The caravan was spotted in the town Thursday afternoon at 5pm.
Police blocked off the lower car park at Monmouth Comprehensive School after a sighting of a man running through the school grounds.
Shortly afterwards the caravan was stopped by South Wales Police on Dixton Road and two men, aged 33 and 22, were detained and arrested.
