New Burstner app released for Elegance motorhomes

With the new Burstner app, owners of a coachbuilt integrated Burstner Elegance motorhome can now monitor and control their vehicle via their smartphone.

The My Burstner app is connected to a central control unit in the vehicle that enables its smart control.

Owners can access their Elegance’s relevant cockpit information from anywhere and at any time via their smartphone, and the app also makes it possible to control numerous habitation elements and aspects.

The battery charge status, various fill levels as well as the servicing intervals are accessible at all times.

The lighting and interior temperature as well as the position of the satellite system are also shown and can be controlled remotely.

The app also includes intelligent checklists and various safety features.

These standard functional features are always available in the app.

Owners can also store scenarios in the My Burstner app, such as, for example, automatically activating the heating
on return to the vehicle, getting the satellite system ready or switching on the lights.

The system always includes a free subscription for the first two years upon purchasing the motorhome from new.

It also offers the possibility of being informed about such aspects as the status of the central locking system or the fact that the refrigerator door is not properly closed via push notifications.

Chairman of the Burstner management board, Jens Kromer said: “When it comes to a luxurious motorhome like our Elegance, it’s simply state of the art to offer the customers a smart vehicle monitoring and control system to ensure that they feel as safe and comfortable as they do at home.

“The app developers made very sure that it is easy and intuitive to use.

“The My Burstner app may well be available for other model ranges at some point in the future.”

The intuitive app is suitable for iOS and Android and can now be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store and the Apple Store.

Within range of the vehicle, it communicates via Bluetooth, otherwise via the mobile network, also in other countries throughout Europe.

The system can be updated, i. e. updates can be run at a later date that automatically update the system with new
features.
