Concern for missing man thought to be travelling in white Ford Transit

Concerns have been raised for a man not seen since Wednesday morning, which police say is “out of character”.

David Cooper, aged 39, was last seen at around 6.05am on Wednesday, July 26, in Capstone Road, Bournemouth.

He is believed to be travelling in a white Ford Transit, registration number WJ63 VXL.

David is described as five feet six inches tall and of medium build with short brown hair and brown stubble.

He was last seen wearing a blue polo top and white work trousers with black pockets on the back.

Officers are now appealing for help and information from the public to find David.

Inspector Jon Wasey, of Dorset Police, said: “David has not been in contact with family or friends, which is out of character, and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I am issuing an image of David in the clothing he was wearing when he went missing and I appealing to anyone who has seen him to please come forward.

“In particular, I would ask the public to report any sightings of the van urgently to Dorset Police.

“Finally, if you see this appeal David, please get in touch with us or your family as we all want to ensure you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to David’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55230117211.
